John Cruz Strats always vouch for the best guitar craftsmanship and with this 62 Heavy Relic Strat the master has simply outdone himself. Sorted ash body with a top grain! Flamed neck at its best. AAA Super dark Rosewood Fretboard, Handwound Poblano Pickups, Relicing on highest level and a beautiful Wide Red Band Sunburst. And the Brown Shell Nitro Pickguard sets the optical Highlite. But I really get into raptures with the sound of this guitar, I had the opportunity to compare it with many masterbuilts. I have rarely played such an open and resonant Strat with such a wide frequency spectrum. Every nuance of attack is immediately transmitted and the harmonics just bubble out of the guitar. Add to that a very comfortable 60's style Oval C neck shape with 9.5" radius and 6105 frets for the most modern playing feel. This Cruz Strat is an absolute hit at the very highest level.
