With this 62 Heavy Relic Stratocaster, Dale Wilson once again clearly shows why he is currently the No. 1 in the Fender Custom Shop with a waiting time of over 5 years. What a dream neck! Super intense flamed (AAA Flame) and the perfect shaping. Fits fantastic in the hand with the 60 style oval C shape, the compound radius and the 6105 frets. It also comes with a AAA Rosewood fingerboard. You can't get more extras in a neck! Sorted lightweight alder body, the guitar weighs only 3285 grams. The relicing is of course, how could it be otherwise with Dale Wilson, of the very best. Handwound Poblanos are used as pickups. The guitar sounds like it has been played for 20 years. Beautifully bell-like, round, pearly with enough warmth and fullness. You really have the feeling you are playing a real old Strat. 100 points for appearance, handling, playability and sound. And all this in top condition!
