Fender Stratocaster 61 Ultra Relic Masterbuilt Kyle McMillin (2022)

Kyle McMillin, one of the new shooting stars in the Fender Custom Shop, has really outdone himself with this Strat. We have here a guitar, in which a really great sound, optimal playability and a fantastic look have come together in a unique way. First of all it convinces with its outstanding player characteristics. With its 7.25-9.5'' compound radius, Modern-C profile and Medium/Jumbo stainless steel frets the neck with stripped back feels first-class in the hand and promises hours of comfortable and convenient playing pleasure. The same goal is pursued by the assorted alder body, which feels phenomenal haptically thanks to Heavy Relicing and it also looks really good on top of that. Heavy abrasion on the significant places, countless paint chips and hairline cracks give the Antique White finish a wonderfully "weathered" look. Matching this the golden aged hardware and an era-appropriate Greenguard. But the absolute killer is the sound of this dream Strat. Equipped with handwound Dual Mag pickups you can't get enough of it. The "Dual Mag" stands for the two different magnets in the same pickup: an Alnico-5 magnet was used for the lower strings and an Alnico-2 for the upper strings. This prevents the upper two strings from being transmitted too softly and too harshly. Crisp, yet super balanced sound with the characteristic slightly compressed vintage bell tone and a killer attack. Substance and sustain without end! This is fun and you won't want to stop playing pearly chords, funky riffs and snotty Blues licks here. The Stratocaster comes from collector's hand and we are pleased to be able to offer it to you in mint condition.
