The relicing alone is an absolute work of art and the look of the guitar is of course immediately reminiscent of John Frusciante's Stratocaster. With its assorted, lightweight alder body this super resonant Strat weighs just 3110 grams. A compound fingerboard radius (7.25“-9.50”), Stewmac #155 frets, a particularly dark AAA rosewood fingerboard and a “60 Style Oval C” neck (.790-.830'') ensure the very best playing comfort. With this Strat you literally get the feeling of having a real old guitar in your hands, its neck feels like it's been played for 50 years. And that's how the guitar sounds, too! The comparatively hotter wound “Handwound Texas Special” pickups together with the guitar's super vibration behavior ensure authentic “Texas Blues” vintage sounds.
