Of course it is always a little sad when a collector breaks up his collection, but we are nevertheless delighted to be able to offer you this unique Stratocaster from masterbuilder icon Vincent van Trigt today. It is now widely known that Vincent always creates phenomenal instruments with an optimal interplay of sound, playability and look. The enormous waiting times of more than 10 years for his instruments can certainly be attributed to this. But the way he has interpreted a legendary color like Fiesta Red on this 1961 Stratocaster is in a league of its own. He calls it "Faded Fiesta Red" and it really does look like you have a real, old Strat in your hands, which finish has faded a little over the decades. Fantastic idea, perfect execution, ...just van Trigt! And you can also see his absolute obsession with detail when it comes to aging: not only do the meticulously applied, fine hairline cracks and subtle cracks and quirks look simply sensational, but the characteristic wear marks are also found in precisely those places that are exposed to constant contact with the player. This gives the guitar a super authentic vintage patina that couldn't be better. In keeping with its fascinating appearance this Stratocaster comes with the popular "60 Style Oval C" neck profile, a 9.5" fingerboard radius and the proven 6105 Narrow/Tall frets, which guarantee the very best playing characteristics. The pickups used here are "Handwound 60's", which fit the guitar like a glove. Juicy, smacking, yet clear, defined and transparent, they deliver excellent Strat sounds, both clean and distorted, that are a real pleasure to listen to. So if you want a really cool Strat that not only looks good but also has a lot of character, you can't go wrong with this van Trigt. The fact that guitars from van Trigt are also among the most sought-after masterbuilt instruments and are constantly increasing in value due to their rarity is a welcome side effect of this perfect overall package. We are therefore extremely pleased to be able to offer you this unique instrument in mint, almost unplayed condition with no traces of use on the frets.
