...and another phenomenal Stratocaster as a result of Jason Smith's successful collaboration with Musikhaus Hermann. It doesn't get more authentic than this! The “Aged Olympic White” is spot on and the relicing is at its very best, incredibly true to the original. The top features of this Strat are also the selected alder body, selected, dark AAA rosewood fingerboard and the handwound “Josefina Campos Custom Shop M.D. Limited” pickups. When you pick up the guitar you immediately get the feeling of playing a real vintage guitar. The feel and playability of the neck are top class with its 6105 Narrow/Tall frets and the great 9.5” fingerboard radius! Even when played dry you can feel the above-average vibration behavior of the guitar. And when plugged into an amp it's a real joy to play. The sound just sparkles out of the amp. Clean very bell-like and round, somewhat reminiscent of the typical clean sounds à la John Mayer. Open, transparent and still enough mids and warmth. In the distorted range wonderfully harmonious and balanced with enough punch and assertiveness. One of those guitars that turns a short test run into an extended, long playing pleasure. You simply won't want to put it down. The guitar is absolutely as good as new, virtually unplayed from 2024. The original price is EUR 9,990.
