Dale Wilson always manages to make your mouth water just by opening the case. No wonder his guitars are among the most sought-after masterbuilts around! This 61 Heavy Relic in "Firemist-over-3-TS" finish also takes the cake. The aging looks so detailed and authentic that you don't want to stop admiring the guitar from all different angles. When you finally pick it up it feels excatly as broken-in as it looks. The distinctly grained AAA-flame neck is just super comfortable with its not-too-bold "65 Strat-C" profile, and plays more comfortably than any vintage Strat thanks to the 9.5" radius and 6105 frets. For pickups Dale opted for three Handwound Fat 60s singlecoils, which combined with the guitar's fantastic resonance just knock your socks off at the amp. They sound so dynamic and airy that you really want to enjoy every chord, but with distortion they also sound smacky and belly enough for any Stevie Ray Vaughan solo. All around awesome!
