Since masterbuilder Dale Wilson has not been accepting new orders for some time now and the waiting time for his works of art is at the moment more than six years, our inventory of Wilson guitars has also thinned out somewhat. Therefore we are even more pleased to be able to offer you this absolute dream Strat from Wilson. First of all, of course, it impresses with its amazing look. A "Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst" finish is not only an interesting change due to its rarity, but also looks really good with its beautiful color gradient and the deep dark brown on the horns. Matching this is the not at all subtle heavy relicing, which fantastically highlights the texture and grain of the ash wood in the appropriate places. Furthermore Dale Wilson really didn't leave out any premium options on this Stratocaster: assorted ash body, flamed AAA roasted maple neck, AAA rosewood fingerboard and handwound pickups. Accordingly the playability and sound of this guitar are just phenomenal. The neck with 60-Style Oval-C profile and 7.25-9.5'' compound radius plays fantastic in combination with the proven 6105 frets. Already dry played, this Strat shows a great vibration behavior, which the Handwound Fat 60s transfer to the amp in an excellent way. The sound of the three singlecoils here immediately reminds of Rory Gallagher. The single notes and chords pearl out of the amp in a snappy, transparent and clear way. With the pressure on the distortion, the guitar then blossoms fully and provides screaming lead sounds and rocking rhythm riffs. Rory would have had his true joy with this Strat!
