As is known by now, Carlos Lopez has left the Custom Shop and thus his guitars become rarities. With this 61 Fiesta Red Start of course immediately comes to mind the 61 Strat of Gary Moore. Super resonant lightweight with only 3250 grams. And when it comes to look and aging, the pictures speak for themselves. Sorted lightweight body, handwound Josefina pickups, selected dark AAA fingerboard, 5/4 quarter sawn neck, super thin nitro lacquer ... here was not spared on surcharge options. Add to that the fact that the guitar is a top player. 60's style Oval C-Neck with 9.5" radius and the slightly higher Narrow Tall 6105 frets. Again, very similar to the Gary Moore Strat, which we even had on hand for comparison. Both also have the medium neck profile (790-830). The Handwound 60's pickups, in combination with the resonant lightweight body, deliver exactly the vintage sounds you'd expect from a 61 Strat. Bell tone, warm and differentiated with lots of dynamics, perfect for all blues and rock fans. But also clean the guitar convinces all along the line. We are happy to offer you this Strat from 2021 in mint, almost unplayed condition.
