Fender Stratocaster 61 HSS Pinup Relic Masterbuilt Vincent van Trigt (2023)

It's really hard to find a Strat from masterbuilder Vincent van Trigt. And then in the pinup version? You might as well be looking for the Amber Room. So we are extremely pleased today to be able to offer you two(!) pinups of this brilliant masterbuilder from collector's hand. But the most striking thing is that these two Stratocasters should not actually exist, as the Fender Custom Shop decided at the end of 2022 that they would stop producing pinup guitars completely. However, there were still a few orders that were originally in John Cruz's order book, who had since left the Custom Shop. The remaining orders, including this HSS Strat, were taken over by masterbuilder Vincent van Trigt. And so it turned out that this dream Strat was produced after all. What the ultimate shooting star among masterbuilders has delivered here is definitely second to none. Wonderful vintage finish in yellowed "Olympic White over 3-Tone-Sunburst", the relatively subtle relicing is reduced here to numerous hairline cracks, larger and smaller flaws as well as paint abrasion in the characteristic areas. A matching aged greenguard and as the icing on the cake a pinup sticker on the back of the body. The playability of the Stratocaster is first class thanks to a 9.5'' fingerboard radius, "60 Style Oval C" neck profile and the popular 6100 Jumbo frets. In terms of sound you get the best of all worlds here. The "Handwound Strat M.D. Ltd." pickups developed by John Cruz are used as singlecoils, which are beautifully bell-like and pearly and impress with their incredible warmth. At the bridge a Seymour Duncan "SH4B Zebra" humbucker delivers a rich Rock board. Fat, smacking and sawing, it's a real pleasure.
