The percussive and yet sustain-rich basic character of the guitar is transmitted to the amp by the proven pickup mix of 69 Strat on the neck, Fat 50s in the middle and Texas Special on the bridge, which covers all classic Strat sounds in best form. Of course the sun is shining brightly when you play clean: radiant, bell-like tones. But with distortion it finally takes off your shoes: what an open, snappy and uncompromising piece of joy! Full, smacky and biting.
