The McCready Strat is certainly the Holy Grail of Fender replicas at the moment! Therefore we are extremely pleased to have once again got a specimen from the hands of masterbuilder Vincent van Trigt that we can offer you in mint condition and with complete accessories. This guitar is an insanely meticulously crafted clone of the original 1960s Strat that Mike McCready used to record legendary Pearl Jam hits like "Once" or "Alive". Vincent van Trigt replicated for the Limited Edition every specification of the original and of course also every play trace, which McCready added to his Stratocaster at countless concerts. The handwound pickups by Josefina Campos also correspond exactly to the originals. Of all the tribute guitars we've come across so far, this one is certainly the most detailed. Countless dings and dongs, wear and play marks - here you quickly notice why Vincent van Trigt is the absolute shooting star among master builders and why there is now even an order stop for his guitars. But this Strat is not only a fantastically beautiful collector's item but also an excellent player. Fantastic neck with 60-style Oval-C profile and 9.5'' radius, which could hardly be better on the real thing. And an incredible sound that the Handound McCready pickups bring to the amp. These are exactly the sounds you know from so many Pearl Jam recordings: raw, uncompromising, just wonderful! In addition to the guitar there are plenty of accessories that should make any collector's heart beat faster: a large-format booklet documenting the guitar's creation (fun fact on the side: Mike McCready thought the Strat was a 1959 until the team at the Custom Shop found out the real year of manufacture), a poster, stickers, photo documentation, a signed extra certificate and a strap. Even the case got the sticker of the original model! This extremely limited Strat with highest rarity value is currently the most sought-after Masterbuilt - so, better be fast!
