...and again we went on a search and although there are only 50 specimens worldwide of this iconic Stratocaster we were able to get hold of another one. The McCready Strat is certainly a holy grail of Fender replicas. This guitar, which comes from the hands of masterbuilder Vincent van Trigt in mint condition and with complete accessories, is an insanely meticulously crafted clone of the original 1960s Strat, that Mike McCready used to record legendary Pearl Jam hits such as “Yellow Leadbetter” and “Nothing as it Seems”. Vincent van Trigt copied every specification of the original for the Limited Edition and of course every playing track that Mike added to the guitar at countless concerts. The handwound pickups by Josefina Campos also correspond exactly to the originals. In fact, we have never seen such a detailed tribute guitar - not only when admiring the countless dings and dongs do you realize why Vincent van Trigt is the absolute shooting star among masterbuilders, but also when playing it. A fantastic neck, which could hardly be better on the real thing, meets exactly the sound that you know from so many Pearl Jam recordings. In addition to the guitar, there are lots of accessories that will make any collector's heart beat faster: a large-format brochure documenting the guitar's origins (fun fact: Mike McCready actually thought the Strat was a 1959 until the team at the Custom Shop found out the real year of manufacture), a poster, stickers, photo documentation, an extra signed certificate and its own strap. Even the case has the sticker of the original! This strictly limited Strat is one of the most sought-after masterbuilts with the highest rarity value - so better be quick!
