I don't think much more needs to be said about John Cruz Pinup Strats. Definitely one of the most sought-after Strats from the Custom Shop. And here we also have a 59 Pin-Up, which are really extremely rare. Only a few pieces came to Europe. The price development of these guitars is enormous and they sometimes climb far above the 10,000 euro mark. Besides all the cult and collector's value, you also get an absolute reference strat here! In terms of appearance, sound and playability, the bar is set extremely high. Best vibration behaviour due to a sorted alder body and a 5/4 quartersawn neck. The fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and 6100 jumbo frets for the right Stevie Ray Vaughan feeling. The neck has a comfortable medium mid 60's style oval C shape (790-830). The pickups are John Cruz Limited Handwound pickups and they harmonise perfectly with the guitar. Bluesy, differentiated, bell-like sounds that immediately reminded me of Stevie Ray. A sharp response and this very slight compression, as you know it from the real old Strats. In addition, it has the blend control, with which bridge and neck pickup can be blended for countless sound variations. Killer Player ... you don't want to put it down! The guitar is in top condition except for a few very slight play marks on the first frets.
