With this '59 Heavy Relic Strat from Dale Wilson you only have to look at the phenomenal grain of the headstock to understand why Dale's instruments are among the most sought-after masterbuilts to come out of the Fender Custom Shop. The unique AAA flamed maple neck is simply a feast for the eyes and blends in perfectly with the enchanting overall look. Dale once again demonstrates the upper end of the aging art. The pictures speak for themselves and the guitar looks even better in real life. The best heavy relicing with considerable paint abrasion, countless flaws and the finest hairline cracks! The Strat's playing characteristics are not inferior: 7.25-9.5" compound radius in combination with the super pleasant, extremely soft "Eric Clapton V" profile and the proven Vintage Upgrade frets ensure the very best playing feel (.790-.930'' neck thickness). Josefina Handwound 59s were installed as pickups. And on the amp they bring out the best in this resonant jewel. Incredibly lively, very bell-like with a great attack.
