With this Strat, Fender is definitely competing with their own Masterbuilt Strats. I would even go so far as to say that it is hard to find a Masterbuilt that comes close to this Strat. Both in terms of aging, sound and playability. The aged Sherwood Green is spot on and the relicing is super authentic. An absolute highlight for me is the Roasted Maple Quartersawn Neck. Feels like 30 years played. Add to that a top-notch playing comfort with the perfectly dressed 6100 jumbo frets and the 9.5" radius. Medium to beefy 59 Esquire C profile that feels great in the hand. Very dark, select AAA Rosewood fingerboard. Handwound Texas Special pickups are used as pickups. And they show themselves at the amp in combination with the super resonance behavior from the best side. Nice pearly and belly with enough warmth and openness. Here you want to enjoy every note. Reminds very much of the real old vintage Strats, as well as the complete feel of the guitar is damn close to that of a real, very well recorded Strat. The successful overall impression is rounded off by the geagte aluminum pickguard. Absolute hit! Masterbuilt level for the price of a Team Built. The original price was 5.000,- and the guitar is as good as new, almost unplayed.
