What could be more exclusive than a “custom order” Strat that is actually only available once in the world? This 1957 Stratocaster, which fantastic spec combination was commissioned by the previous owner in 2017, is one such specialty. The aging was kept rather subtle here by giving the Strat a wonderfully authentic look with numerous hairline cracks, a few quirks and minor paint abrasion. The finish in traditional “Faded 2-Tone Sunburst” matches this. The maple fingerboard and neck have a fantastic AAA grain and their vintage patina feels really good. The same applies to the easy-grip “Large C” profile with a 9.5” fingerboard radius and the proven 6105 frets. It feels great in the hand, is in combination with a dream weight of only 3140 grams extremely comfortable to play and gives simply fun! The “60 Strat” pickups translate the already very good dry sound behavior perfectly on the amp: classic mapleneck sounds in top form! Earthy, expressive sound, ideal for the perfect Blues sounds. Plenty of smack, but always with the characteristic sparkle of a 50s Strat. Clean, distorted or high-gain, this Strat cuts a fine figure everywhere. ...and as a well thought-out feature this Fender also offers the option of adjusting the truss rod via an access point on the headstock (Truss Rod Adjustment at Peg Head), so that the usual, annoying need to remove the neck is a thing of the past. We are delighted to be able to offer you this awesome combination of look, playing characteristics and sound in top condition with only minimal traces of playing on the first few frets.
