We've been waiting for months for a guitar from Levi Perry. After all, several of the young Masterbuilder's guitars have already found their way to Germany. With this '55 Relic Strat the time has now come. And what can we say: it was worth the wait! With this beauty in "Faded Sonic Blue" Levi has created a work of art that bears his very own signature - and not just visually! Anyone expecting the typical bright mapleneck tone will be surprised by this Strat. From the very first note it is surprisingly full, warm and somewhat darker than you would expect from a “typical” 50's mapleneck Strat. The specially wound "Handwound Master Designed Ltd." singlecoils are probably responsible for this. This is particularly noticeable with distorted sounds, which sound incredibly rich, punchy and smacky. Nevertheless, you can still hear the percussiveness that is typical of Strats from this era. A killer mix that we have never heard before! A slim "Modern C"-neck profile with a 9.5-12” compound radius and 6150 Medium Jumbo frets ensures the best playing feel. So whether in terms of looks, sound or playability: Levi Perry's reputation as the new star on the Fender firmament is well deserved!
