For all those who like classic Strats from the 50s, here comes the ultimate guitar from John Cruz! This 1955 Strat in White Blonde is a dream for every friend of 50's maple-neck Strats. The super rare John Cruz "Bone Tone" pickups were installed here, which for me are still among the best Fender pickups. The White Blonde finish, through which you can see the grain of the wood wonderfully, and the amazingly authentic relicing give the guitar a great look! The 10/56 neck shape with the soft V and the slightly stronger neck profile (.880-.980) plays brilliantly combined with the 6105 Narrow/Tall frets and the 9.5" radius. John Cruz once again leaves his unmistakable signature on the sound. He always manages to give his guitars an incredible warmth and fullness with a quick attack and response at the same time. The "Bone Tone" pickups are also used in John Mayer's guitar and this Strat has exactly the same basic character. Whether clean, distorted or high-gain, it's fun to savor every note. Overall the guitar is in top condition and the frets show only minimal signs of wear. The previous owner replaced the pickguard with a super authentic Crazyparts pickguard (original included, has a small crack). He also asked John Cruz, if he could send him the original pinup sticker that he uses on his Strats. And voilá, John Cruz sent it and so this Strat was pimped up with the original John Cruz pinup sticker. 100 point Strat!
