For all who like the custom color Strats of the 50's, here comes the ultimate candy from John Cruz! This 55 Strat in Sea Foam Green is a dream for every friend of 50's maple neck Strats. The super rare John Cruz Bone Tone pickups are used here, which for me are still among the best Fender pickups. The Sea Foam Green and the very authentic aging give the guitar a great look! The 10/56 neck shape with the soft V and the slightly stronger neck profile (880-980) plays great with the 6105 Narrow/Tall frets and the 9.5" radius. When it comes to sound, John Cruz again leaves his unmistakable mark. He always manages to give his guitars an incredible warmth and fullness while maintaining a fast attack and response. The Bone Tone pickups are also used in the guitar of John Mayer and exactly this basic character has this Strat. Whether clean, distorted or high gain, it's fun to savor every note here. To expand the sound spectrum even further Cruz has installed a blend poti here, with which you can blend continuously between bridge and neck pickup.
