We are big fans of good hardtail strats and are always happy when one of these rare birds comes to us. Due to the lack of tremolo, these guitars usually have an extra portion of sustain and tone to offer. This beautifully reliced Masterbuilt by Jason Smith is no exception - quite the opposite. Here the five minutes I wanted to play it to write a description text turned into 20 minutes - and I really had to force myself to put it down again! The guitar is incredibly snappy due to the maple neck and has exactly the percussive attack you want from a 50s Strat. That combined with the classy substance in the tone you get from the hardtail construction just makes for a killer strat sound. Pearly chords, funky singles, but also distorted blues and rock - this guitar blows everything so beautifully around your ears that time just flies when playing. Also the playing comfort with the "57 Style Soft V" profile of the neck, 9'5" radius and 45085 "Vintage Upgrade" frets is just great. Feels really "old", but still you just fly over the fretboard. The icing on the cake is then the weight of just 3155 grams. What can we say? Grab it before we keep it ourselves! We can offer you the guitar in mint condition.
