It really is a shame that Vincent van Trigt is leaving the Fender Custom Shop. What dream guitars this shooting star among masterbuilders has created! His waiting list was so long that he had been unable to accept orders for a long time and was fully booked for years. But you only have to look at this 50's Strat to understand why Vincent's instruments are in such high demand. You really can't get any closer to the look, sound, handling and feel of a genuine pre-CBS 50's Stratocaster. An incredibly beautiful “3-Tone Sunburst” with great red tones and the aging is simply out of this world. Normally it doesn't make much sense to talk about individual quirks on ultra-reliced guitars. But here it's actually fascinating to take a close look at every square inch of the guitar in order to fully appreciate van Trigt's special attention to detail and his meticulous approach. This is a real masterpiece! Especially in combination with the phenomenal “Roasted Flame Maple Neck” (AAA), the great maple cap of the fingerboard and the incomparable patina of the finish, the result is a unique look! As usual Vincent also leaves nothing to be desired as an instrument. The “Large C” profile of the neck not only feels great, but also allows the guitar to vibrate exceptionally well. The neck is not too thick and sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the rounded edges. The 12” fingerboard radius and the 6100 Jumbo frets add to the super modern feel. However, the most remarkable thing about the Strat is its incredible weight of just 3110 grams!!! Killer vintage look with the most modern playing feel. The fresh and resonant basic sound is transmitted to the amp by the three “Josefina Handwound Fat 50's” singlecoils with a lot of smack, whereby the typical pearliness of a 50's Stratocaster is never lost. Bell-like vintage tone at its very best! Like every van Trigt this guitar, which we can offer you in mint condition, is an absolute hit not only visually and haptically, but also in terms of sound! Such a masterpiece - and one of his last - should not be missed!
