Here we have one of the latter guitars built by John Cruz at Fender Custom Shop. And this guitar reflects the many years of experience of this exceptional master builder. We have had a lot of John Cruz Strats, but here he just shows where the bar is. First, the looks are simply stunning. The slightly faded Fiesta Red is spot on and the aging is super authentic. It makes you think of the Gary Moore Strat. Absoulter killer is this neck. AAA Flame Neck with Dirty Finish to Back and Heavily Rolled Fingerboard. Feels like it's been played for 30 years and feels great in the hand with the 65 Strat "C" shape. Rather a bit beefier. The 9.5" radius and 6105 medium jumbo frets provide the best modern playing comfort. Handwound Josefina Fat 50's transfer the top resonance behavior to the amp. And here fans of authentic vintage Fender sounds can rejoice. Warm, fat, bell-like, differentiated and with just the right attack. It's really remarkable how John Cruz manages to reproduce the look and feel as well as the sound of the real old Strats. Simply a masterpiece. The guitar is in mint condition, with all case candies, spec sheet, strap, hang tags etc.
