Masterbuilder Paul Waller used a 100 year old Pine-Wood body for this Strat. I don't know if it's the ancient wood or the Abby Handwound 60's pickups, but this Strat is a killer sound. You almost can't get any closer to the sound of the real old 60's Strats. Very bell-like, warm, shimmering, with great Harmonics and that slight compression you know from the old Strats. A dream player that you don't want to put down. Also the playability is at its best. Compound radius (9.25"-10"), 6105 frets, and a medium 60's oval C-shape. Visually, the sunburst was modeled after the 3-Tone Sunburst Strats, where the red is already heavily faded. The aging is also very well done. Super authentic! The guitar is in top condition and my top recommendation for all who are looking for the warm, bell-like John Mayer and Clapton sound.
