For the first time we can offer you with this '63 Heavy Relic Strat a guitar from Masterbuilder Ron Thorn. And what can we say ... we are impressed! It's the first choice for all those who like the glassy "Tin Pan Alley" sound of Stevie Ray Vaughan. The hand-wound Texas Special Singlecoils with their accentuated highs and basses provide pearly clean and characteristic overdrive tones. The neck with its Medium '60s Oval C-Shape, the 9.5" radius and the 6105 frets should fit comfortably in the hand of almost everyone. Visually, the relicing is a real pleasure. Ron has worked in incredible detail and carved lots of fine cracks into the nitro finish. If you’re into 60s-Strats, don't think twice!
