Fender Nocaster Ltd Namm 51 Heavy Relic (2019)
This limited '51 Nocaster was originally developed for the Namm 2017, but was so popular that it was still built in 2019. And rightly so! With the mix of a Handwound Nocaster Bridge pickup and a Handwound Tele Tex Special Neck pickup you get energetic vintage twang sound at its best. The powerful Nocaster U-profile of the neck with its modern 9'5" radius and 6105 frets is a lot of fun, especially since the backside of the neck has been freed from varnish for more grip. The Relic department of the Custom Shop did a great job and added a lot of dings and dongs to the ash body and the rather dark coloured maple neck. If you like the Relic look and are looking for a great sounding Tele at a price far below the masterbuild level, you'll have a lot of fun here. The guitar is as good as new.
