More than 70 years ago the Fender Telecaster saw the light of day. This 1951 Nocaster Heavy Relic pays homage to its predecessor, the Nocaster, which got its nickname from the missing Telecaster logo. Masterbuilder Carlos Lopez created this dream guitar specifically for the American dealer Wildwood Guitars and he outdid himself again. Extremely lightweight ash body, Handwound Twisted-Tele pickups, authentic Nocaster U-neck profile with 10'' radius and 6105-Narrow/Tall frets. The result is a super player guitar that feels great in the hand and delivers pure Tele sound! Great attack, lively, but still enough midrange to never sound shrill or garish. Very dynamic thanks to its above average resonance behavior. And the whole thing comes in a detailed heavy-relic look that makes the guitar appear as if it had actually been "on the road" since 1951. This Nocaster is from 2021, from collector's hand and in absolutely mint condition without any play marks on the frets. As is well known Carlos Lopez left the Fender Custom Shop only recently. So, if you want to secure one of his last masterpieces, you should not wait too long here.
