Jazzmasters are certainly definitive character guitars that were originally designed with their target audience - Jazz guitarists - in mind, but unfortunately unsuccessful in the beginning. However, they became the preferred guitars in the Surf, Rockabilly and later the Grunge and alternative scene. Here we can offer you a very special specimen of a Jazzmaster: a subtly reliced Jazzy from the Fender Custom Shop in the beautiful special color “Shell Pink” with color-matched headstock. What a phenomenal look: this is exactly how you would imagine a cool surfer guitar in sunny California at the end of the 60s! And of course it also offers the classic sound of a 62 Jazzmaster and combines this with a pleasantly modern playing feel. This is ensured by the extremely comfortable “62 Jazzmaster” neck profile, a 9.5” fretboard radius and the proven Narrow/Tall frets. The flawlessly functioning ‘floating tremolo’ system, with which you want to decorate every chord, is another feature that makes up the fantastic playing characteristics of this Jazzmaster. In terms of sound, fans of this Fender model will leave nothing to be desired as the two J-Master pickups deliver exactly the sound on the amp for which these guitars are known and loved. This Jazzmaster is already extremely resonant when played dry and enchants at the amp with its wonderfully fat, bell-like sound. Top attack, wonderfully round, perfect for rhythm sounds in the intermediate position and pure Blues on the neck! This is what you want from a Jazzmaster and the variety of sounds only increases as soon as you use the additional Jazzmaster-specific switch for the rhythm circuit.
