Fender Jazz-A-Caster Will Ray (1997)

For fans of particularly extravagant guitars we have something very special here: a Fender Will Ray Jazz-A-Caster from 1997. This unusual guitar has a Telecaster body finished with real gold leaf, a small-style Strat headstock, a vintage-look satin maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard with white pearloid pyramid inlays. The "Hellecasters" logo is also inlaid on the twelfth fret. In addition it has two specially developed Seymour Duncan Jazzmaster pickups with reverse winding for a more powerful mid and bass range, as well as a specially wired 4-way selector switch and concentric tone controls, that allow individual settings for each pickup. Additionally, the "Limited Edition Will Ray Jazz-A-Caster" is equipped with a Hipshot B-Bender, which only enhances the richness of sound varieties of this exceptional guitar. A rod is inserted into the B-bender, which protrudes from the back of the guitar, where it engages with the player's hips and can be used to bend the B-string. This Jazz-A-Caster, which was manufactured in 1997 and is including the frets in excellent condition, is extremely comfortable to play thanks to its fantastic "Soft V" neck profile. The guitar was delivered without a case at the time, which is why it now comes to its new owner in a non-original gig bag.
