This limited edition pinstripe Esquire from the Fender Custom Shop embodies the spirit and soul of the original 1950s Fender Esquire, Fender's most original solidbody electric guitar. This wonderfully simple instrument, which formed the basis for the Broadcaster and later the Telecaster, made music history in the hands of numerous artists. The guitar at hand is a very special specimen with a hand-selected, lightweight ash body, its artfully refined finish in “White Blonde” and the unique decorations of the world-famous pinstriper Dennis Ricklives. The exclusive appearance is rounded off by the super attractive AA birdseye maple neck. Even when played dry you are immediately surprised by the enormous resonance and volume of the guitar. And at the amp it is always fascinating to see what a wonderful tonal range can be achieved with just one singlecoil (handwound by Abigail Ybarra) and the legendary Eldred Esquire circuit. Beautifully direct, great attack with enormous bite and punch! In the intermediate position the tone poti is engaged and the capacitor is enabled at the neck position. This is how you imagine an Esquire, this is how it should be! ...and what's more, this gem is also extremely pleasant to play with its fuller C neck profile, 9.5'' fingerboard radius and 6105 frets. We are delighted to be able to offer you this “pinstriped” work of art in top condition.
