There is probably no Fender Esquire that is better known than the 59 Jeff Beck Esquire. In a strictly limited edition of just 150 pieces Fender brought out a small series in 2006, in which this Esquire was replicated down to the last detail. Jeff Beck played this Esquire already with the Yardbirds. He bought it in 1965 from John Walker of the Walker Brothers for $75. And he made it in the course of the time by most intensive use and modifications at the body to "his" Esquire. Super lightweight with only 2750 grams and sounding just pure Rock'n'Roll. Super direct sound and by the typical Esquire circuit more variable than you think. In the first position bridge singlecoil directly to the output jack (without tone poti), second position singlecoil with tone poti, third position singlecoil with capacitor. Included of course all accessories incl. Yardbirds CD, photo, strap, gigbag etc. And of course the legendary flightcase. This gem was built by masterbuilder Chris Flemming. The Esquire is in top condition with light playing marks on the first frets and should please both collectors and players. And with 2750 grams it might be one of the lightest Teles/Esquires we ever had the pleasure to offer so far.
