This Fender Coronado from 1966 is in very good original condition. Only the switch tip has been replaced and on one of the poti knobs the small metal plate on the knob has come off. Besides these two minimal issues really a splendid specimen of this rare coronado. On top of that it is also a very good player with excellent sound characteristics. Especially the neck pickup is what I like about it. Warm bluesy sound, which is not muddy at all. In the intermediate position it is very suitable for rhythm playing. At the bridge a twangy and direct sound which lies somewhere between humbucker and single coil. The neck has a pleasant medium profile and the original frets are in very good condition, relatively flat for that time. If you're looking for a rare vintage guitar with a special look and flair at a very good price, you'll love this one.
incl. case (not original, newer Hiscox case ... fits perfectly!)
