In recent years there has been a lot of hype surrounding Kirk Hammett and the Les Paul Greeny he acquired. A guitar that made music history in the hands of Peter Green and Gary Moore. However, it is often forgotten that perhaps no other instrument is as closely associated with Metallica's influential lead guitarist as the ESP KH-2. So today we are delighted to offer you an “ESP KH-2 Gloss Black”, the latest update to Kirk Hammett's signature series, which was handmade in the ESP Custom Shop in Japan. Its specifications make it a unique guitar. It features a neck-thru body construction with a 25.5” scale length, a comfortable alder body and an extra-thin, super-comfortable maple neck with U-profile and lacquered neck back. It also features a rosewood fingerboard with the characteristic “Skull and Bones” inlays, 12'' fingerboard radius, 24 Extra Jumbo frets, high-quality Gotoh tuners and a Floyd Rose original bridge. In terms of sound, this is an absolute shredding machine as the guitar is powered by a pair of “EMG KH Bone Breaker Limited Edition Pickups”. These pickups are designed to bring out the best in Kirk's tone, delivering crunchy leads or smooth, rounded rhythm sounds as required. Highest tone density and clean string separation without mulch or mud! “Master of Puppets”, ‘...And Justice For All’, ‘Enter Sandman’ - these are the tunes for which this ESP is made, which we can offer you in top condition except for minimal signs of wear.
