First of all ... this guitar is not from the cheaper Johnny Depp Alliance Series. This super rare gem is the limited Artist Signature Series. These absolutely rare guitars are all hand signed by Johnny Depp himself and only 52 times available worldwide! This one-of-a-kind guitar was unveiled at NAMM 2014. Nathan Fawley of Duesenberg USA says, "When we worked with Johnny on this project, which took a full year to complete, we wanted to include something personal that showed Johnny on a very personal level, and there's probably nothing like Johnny's tattoos to tell his life story. Each piece symbolizes an important event in his life. "Our goal was to immortalize Johnny's tattoos on the guitar and create a unique work of art in typical Duesenberg tradition. The Duesenberg Johnny Depp Artist Series features a solid American alder body with tone chambers. What makes the guitar even more unique is the Duesenberg JD-63 pickup and its classic, very open single-coil sound. By flipping a switch, another 1963 winding is added to the coil (1963 is Johnny Depp's birth year). The result is an incredibly present, punchy rock sound, in which the tightly screwed aluminum plate body also has its share. We can present you this super rare guitar in top condition.
