Bourgeois Guitars produces around 400 carefully crafted guitars each year in a historic 1850s mill in a purpose-built workshop in Maine, USA. Dana Bourgeois and his experienced team build instruments in various tonewood combinations for players all over the world who enjoy the feeling of owning a very special, exquisite instrument. This Bourgeois Standard D from 2007 is also a fabulous acoustic with a soundmighty Sitka spruce top that delivers an open, dynamic sound and responds to even the slightest nuances in playing. Warm mids, solid basses and great definition! Ideal for strumming, but also the first choice for finger picking. The sides and back are made of fine Indian rosewood, visually perfect with a discreet herringbone binding and beautiful “Long Pattern Square & Diamond” fingerboard inlays. And due to its excellent playability with a medium neck profile the future owner will certainly spend a lot of time enjoying its timeless acoustic tone. We are delighted to be able to offer you this guitar in top condition with only minimal signs of use.
