Matthias Meyer from Bassart has long been a household name when it comes to authentic finishes and the best repair craftsmanship. He also incorporates his many years of experience into his own guitar models. The D-Cat nicknamed "The Red" is a Rock and Blues machine. That's exactly what you expect from such a guitar: bony, fat, with lots of sustain and punch. Only the best parts are used here. The two Häussel pickups transmit every subtle nuance of the guitar and leave nothing to be desired. The neck pickup can do just about anything from jazzy warm to Slash-smacky. The bridge pickup has enough definition to still sound differentiated at high-gain settings. Thanks to the Orange Drop condenser, you don't lose too many highs when you turn down the volume. Also worth mentioning here is the above-average nitro finish and the very authentic, not too exaggerated aging. We had our fun here when unpacking the guitar - the Marshall and the neighbor, too. The guitar has been played with pleasure so far and certainly has a few minor dings and dongs. However, since we have already factored this into the price we are happy to offer you this unconditional rock machine today.
