B&G is something of a shooting star among boutique guitar manufacturers. With the unique design of the Little Sister, which ranks somewhere between Les Paul, ES-335 and an old Parlor guitar, the company from Tel Aviv advanced in a few years to an important player in the high-end sector. Here we have a special variant of the model: on the one hand, it comes from the "Private Build" series, something like B&G's custom shop. On the other hand, the top is made of regional Lebanese cedar, which, in combination with the "Antique Aniline Dye" and the very thin shellac coating, makes for a primal, unique look. This one features B&G's own hand-wound "Kikbuckers". These are P90s that are made hum-free by a second coil.
The combination of these pickups with the guitar's vibrant character really makes your jaw drop when you play it. Here you want to savor every note, so dynamic and lively the tones jump out at you. With distortion, Little Sister lets her wicked side out and roasts that it is a true joy.
