Gibson Les Paul Standard 1960 60th Anniversary V1 (2020)

Just in time for the 60th anniversary of the 1960s Les Paul Standard, Gibson launched a special Anniversary model. This guitar is available in three neck variations, with the designations V1, V2 and V3. The V1 profile is the most powerful of the three profiles and corresponds to a medium, slightly slimmer 59 profile. Feels great in the hand. The V2 profile corresponds to the transition profile between medium 59 and the flat Slim Taper and with the V3 profile we have the flat Slim Taper profile. With this Les Paul the maple top really sticks out. Beautifully flamed and a rich burst color. With 3750 grams it's a resonant lightweight. The Unpotted Alnico III Pickups transfer the dry, resonant character of the amp. Very direct and with a singing, smacking sound. Also the back of this Les Paul is above average beautiful. Great mahogany grain and a nice dark finish. Simply great what Gibson delivers here. Dream Paula with killer look and top sound. Absolutely like new without any signs of wear and tear.
