Gibson Les Paul 59 Historic 2018 Beauty of the Burst (2019)
This beautiful Les Paul Historic Reissue from 2019 had a real existing Les Paul as its model. It was built on customer request as part of the M2M program and the model was the Burst on page 74 of the famous "Beauty of the Burst" book. The finish here is called Vintage Dark Burst and looks simply phenomenal in combination with the beautifully grained top. On picture 16 you can see the cutout from the book, really very well done. But not only visually we have a treat here, also tonally it plays in the champions league. Nice open, dry, wooden, resonant and smacks and sings beautifully. Pleasant medium 59 neck with slightly higher frets for optimal playing feel. The guitar is in top condition and has only on the back a small playing track (dong), approx. 4 mm, which simply could not be captured on the pictures. Otherwise a dream LP with best sound characteristics.
