This limited edition '58 Explorer Mahogany in TV Special is very rare to find. It was available in 4 different colors with 50 pieces each. Gibson combines the traditional Mahogany Explorer with the look of the TV Specials. Not only visually a killer guitar. Chunky '58 neck profile, but plays great. The frets are in top condition. The two Gibson Custombuckers provide great rock tones with vintage character, so no high gain metal sound, but a smacking, classic P.A.F. sound with a little higher output. The guitar always stays nicely differentiated at all gain levels and lets the classic rock riffs sound powerful and with just the right mid frequencies. Visually and sonically a bang with rarity value. The guitar is also in very good condition and for an Explorer a featherweight with 3840 grams.
