This is one of the Joe Bonamassa guitars that are the hardest to get. Based on Joe's ideas, Gibson made a very small edition of his 60's Tomato Soup Bigsby Burst. Only 50 were available in the signed version, where case and pickguard are signed by him. Of course these were sold out immediately after release. And here we have the number 49 of 50. Even though this model was not made in the custom shop it meets highest production standards and is already a sought-after collector's item. Concerning craftsmanship and sound this Les Paul is really the bomb! The pickups are two Seymour Duncan 52-Nc and 53-Nc which were specially made according to Bonamassas specifications. You can hardly get closer to the typical Bonamassa sound. A bit more output and still the clear, slightly compressed vintage character, hot rod vintage so to say. The neck has a slightly flatter profile, somewhere between 59 and 60 profile. The frets are a bit higher and wider and offer the most modern playing feel. The guitar is brand new and comes with all hangtags, case candies and the signed pickguard and case. A highlight for collectors and players!
