I have always been a fan of those Les Paul Specials in TV Yellow. And here we have a great one in the single cut version. The TV-Yellow here is very authentic and the guitar looks simply like an old, faded Les Paul Special. Although this is a 1960s Reissue, it has by no means a flatter 60s neck. With this neck here you have good grip, but it’s not too fat and with the rounded shoulders, it simply feels great. The guitar resonates great and the amp gives you exactly what you expect from a P90 Special. Direct, percussive, smacking sound, just pure rock n' roll. But the guitar can also be bluesy. Especially if you turn the volume knob on the neck pickup back a bit, it has a great, subtle tone. Except for a small paint flaking on the headstock (see picture) it is in excellent condition and also a pleasant lightweight.
