The "Donna's" are now almost impossible to get. As #5 of the Collectors Choice series it is the exact replica of the '59 Burst with serial number 9 1923 by Tom Wittrock and was built completely according to the True Historic Specs. The red in the sunburst is still very rich and not faded in the original, which is also the case with this Donna. With this Donna I get straight to the sound, because it simply stands out very much. Incredibly resonant and when played unplugged you can already recognize the sound qualities. Amplified the Custombuckers deliver what they promise. Great attack, smacks nice, differentiated and balanced with a great tone. The slightly higher frets and the medium 59 neck profile with the rounded shoulders provide best playability. A dream player that you never want to put down. The guitar has some additional belt buckle marks on the back, but is otherwise in top condition with new frets and a very nice top.
