Shortly after their release, the CC#22's were sold out and in the meantime they have almost completely disappeared from the market and are no longer available. The CC#12 is the exact replica of the '57 Goldtop of Henry Juszkiewicz, the former managing director of Gibson. Like all Collectors Choice guitars, it is characterized by a true to original aging, top craftsmanship and best resonance behavior. On the amp I am really surprised how exactly Gibson has captured the typical '57 Goldtop sound with the custombuckers. Direct, fast, lively, just the right mids and highs for a great rock sound. Never gets muddy. But she also masters the quieter, slightly distorted blues sounds very convincingly. Top player with top look and feel and best value retention. The guitar is in great condition without any playing wear on the frets.
