This Fender Cabronita Telecaster Especial comes from a limited series in which only 10 pieces each of the various colors were built. Here we have the model in Sonic Blue. The Cabronitas with a pickup are almost impossible to get on the used market and certainly not in this beautiful Sonic Blue. When I connected this tele to the amp, I couldn't get the grin off my face anymore and I immediately unpacked all the classic rock riffs. I was stunned by the response of this guitar. The TV Jones Powertron Pickup in combination with the pointed resonance behaviour is pure joy of playing. Fast attack, great overtones, smacking mids and always a certain clarity that lies between humbucker and single coil. Also very suitable for clean sounds. Here less is really more, because you can get out tens of different nuances with the tone and volume pot alone. For me this would be a reference rhythm guitar for studio and live. And for the finest playing feeling we also have the proven combination with a medium neck, 9.5" radius and 6105 frets.
