This PRS McCarty is a One Off guitar, which was created in close collaboration between the famous Munich guitarist and book author Abi von Reininghaus and Paul Reed Smith. It has numerous features that were made to Abi's specifications, resulting from his years of experience as a studio and live guitarist. Soon this visual and sonic masterpiece became his main guitar, which was used in numerous live and studio applications. The Wide-Fat Neck here is made of solid East Indian Rosewood. The varnish was applied very thinly according to Abi's wish and you can still clearly feel the grain of the wood through the varnish. Very pleasant playing feel. The pickups were wound especially for Abi, but he decided to use a slightly weaker output at the neck pickup to keep a certain airiness without mud. Both pickups can be split by the Mini Switch. This PRS has an exceptionally good sound and leaves nothing to be desired, from singing, sustain-rich lead sounds to funky split-coil sounds. Fantastic ten-top soundboard and specially selected tonewood for the body. This guitar was also instrumental in the development of the Schaller Signum bridge, which is now also mounted on the guitar and also provides a significant improvement in sound (see article picture 18). The original PRS bridge is included. All in all, a guitar which you will never want to put down. The VAT can be shown on this guitar.
