Super Player Stratocaster in Sunburst from 1962! As a late 62 she already has the Curved Board. It has a great swing and sounds exactly like you would expect from a pre CBS Strat. Bell Tone at its best with enough warmth and the right amount of attack. Also optically a delicacy. The red in the 3Tone Sunburst is still very well preserved and hardly faded. Unfortunately the "Stratocaster" part of the original decal is no longer there and the "Custom Body" part is only a trace left. The guitar has been played a lot, what you can hear but also see on some tracks. Simply the look for which the Relic Strats pay a lot of money. On the inside of the cutaway there is a "Touch Up", a repair from the previous owner (image 13). An additional small capacitor was soldered to the volume pot (no loss of height), which can be removed easily. But since the guitar is very harmonious and fantastic as a player, we have of course not changed anything. Great pre CBS Strat with the right look, sound and vibe!
