After the first golden edition and the limited red and black models, now comes the jack-of-all-trades from the Kaluna series! Anyone who knows our videos will also know the sound of this exceptional pedal. In each of our videos you will hear the Vahlbruch Kaluna. And since it's the only pedal that we play ourselves we're happy to now be able to offer you the brand new Kaluna II. The Kaluna II has a "Structure" switch that allows you to switch between the familiar gain structure of the first version ("V1") and a higher gain mode ("hot"), or a lower gain mode ("low") can be selected. The Kaluna II also has a surge protection circuit. The tube input stage is followed by a powerful, active 3-band tone control. As you would expect from a true tube input stage, the Kaluna pedal is a dynamic wonder - the pedal responds to even the slightest change in velocity and position of the guitar's volume poti. From light distortion to rich crunch to creamy lead sounds, everything is possible here. For us it's still the first choice if you're looking for a top-class tube distorter.
