The fact that there has been a real hype surrounding Panucci guitars in recent years is certainly well known to every guitar aficionado. The fact that these guitars represent a perfect symbiosis of absolute top sound, the best playing characteristics and a fantastic look is not particularly surprising for the connoisseur. But the fact that you only have to pay half as much for such a perfect overall package as for comparable competitor guitars is always astonishing! So we are extremely pleased to be able to offer you another gem from Angelo van Merrienboer's workshop today. This is a '59 Inspired with a mahogany body and a fabulously grained top made of European maple with a super authentic “Faded Burst” finish. The in-house, handwound Panucci 59s were used as pickups, which appear here exceptionally warm and singing with a great sustain. This really comes very close to the old PAFs. In addition, the guitar simply sounds incredibly woody and three-dimensional - a real pleasure, whether clean or distorted. The neck also reflects the feel of a '59 Burst with its extremely comfortable medium profile. Thanks to the perfectly dressed stainless steel frets you can whizz across the dark rosewood fingerboard as smooth as butter and the icing on the cake is that this '59 Inspired also has an absolute dream weight of just 3490 grams.
