Rarely was a limited run at Martin sold out as quickly as these two David Gilmore D-35 guitars. 150 of the 6-string were built and only 100 of the 12-string. As far as we know, only 2 pairs came to Germany. All guitars are hand signed by David Gilmour on the label. On the second hand market prices of far more than 20.000,- per guitar are called, if you can get one at all, which is almost impossible in Europe. All the more we are happy to be able to offer you this pair in absolutely new condition without any traces of playing incl. original packaging. The neck, back and sides are made of mahogany, the top is made of Adirondack spruce. The neck profile is based on the original David's D-35. These two guitars are not only first choice as collector's instruments, but also convince in sound and playability. I would even go so far as to say that both the 6 and 12 string are among the best dreadnoughts I have heard. Incredibly resonant, with great overtones and a super wide frequency spectrum. The 12-string plays like a 6-string and from the first chord you think to yourself "Wish you were here". If you are a collector or a player and don't want to make any compromises, you can be happy here.
